Out-Patient Clinic

The section for Hansen’s Disease patients functions on all days of a  week, except  Sundays, from 7.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Dr.A.Subramanian, M.B.B.S., D.Ortho.,  Medical Superintendent and Surgeon is the Chief Consultant of surgical section.  He is assisted by two Junior Medical Officers.

Dr.M.A.Rajan, M.B.B.S., D.O., Leprologist and Ophthalmologist, is the Chief Consultant of medical section and is assisted by 3 Junior Medical Officers.

Patients suffering from various complications of leprosy  like reactions, neuritis, trophic ulcers,  ocular complications and those requiring reconstructive surgery are referred.  The daily average is  135.

The section for Non-Hansen’s disease patients also functions on all days of a week except Sundays, from 7.30 a.m. to  4.30 p.m.  Consultants in General Medicine, Dermatology, Orthopedics and Cardiology from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (Deemed University),  (SRMC), Chennai, visit this institution and conduct clinics from June 1999. Patients with all general complaints, dermatological problems,  orthopedic conditions and cardiac problems are benefited by the expertise offered by SRMC, Chennai.
